Greetings, curious souls…

In Delaware County stands a place where time did not move on—it settled in and stayed. The Historic Jail and Sheriff’s Residence has watched generations pass through its doors… and some, it seems, never truly left.

I’ve been working with the local historical society, and I thought a few of you might feel that familiar pull—the quiet kind you can’t quite explain—to come and see it for yourselves… especially after dark.

We host ghost hunts within its walls, where footsteps echo down empty corridors, doors shift when no one is near them, and the air has a way of changing without warning. It is not loud or theatrical. It is subtle. Patient. The kind of place that reveals itself slowly… if it chooses to at all.

I’ve included a flyer and a few photos, though images tend to miss the important things. They don’t capture the feeling of being watched… or the way the building seems to notice when you’ve arrived.

Public tours are a gentler introduction—just enough to step inside, listen, and decide how close you’d like to get.
Private investigations… well, those tend to go a bit deeper. The building seems to respond differently when fewer people are present.

I’ll share the ticket link below for anyone who feels drawn to come.

Some places hold history.
Some places hold something else.

This one… does not like to be forgotten.

Hello, Dear Ghoulish Friends –
I’ve missed you! Though I’ve been a bit quiet lately, please know you’ve never been far from my mind. Unfortunately, a serious family health issue has required much of my time and energy, keeping me away from the shop more than I’d like.

While I’ve been navigating hospital halls instead of haunted ones, I haven’t had the chance to give Totally ‘Not’ Haunted the attention it deserves. So — I’m officially looking for a part-time Assistant! Ideally, someone spooky-spirited and within reasonable driving distance to Columbus, OH.

If that sounds like you (or someone you know), check out the attached flyer for all the details. Referrals are also very much appreciated. Thank you all for your continued support — you mean the (other)world to me.

Greetings, my dear friends!

A gentle reminder from the shadowed shelves: buy vintage, buy local. After all, the old souls whisper the most curious tales.

And tell me, clever ones—who inspired the mysterious lady in red? Bonus points if you dare guess correctly… 🕯️📖👁️‍🗨️

I got a little ghostly nudge reminding me to post something for St. Patrick’s Day, so here’s a little secret that not many people know…

I’m adopted. 👀

I spent some time in an orphanage before finding my forever family on St. Patrick’s Day—so, fittingly, they gave me an Irish middle name. A lucky charm, if you will. 🍀

But here’s where things get a little eerie… When I was a kid, that very same orphanage was still in use. It had a fantastic pool, and in the summer, they’d open it to the community. My parents signed me up for swimming lessons there, and for years, I splashed around, totally unaware that I had once called that place home.

It’s a strange thing, isn’t it? To unknowingly revisit a past life, drifting through the same halls, the same water, without realizing the connection? Almost like a ghost of myself was still there, watching. 👻

I was young, so I understood… but didn’t fully understand.

Anyway—Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all you lucky souls! May your day be filled with a little magic, a little mystery, and maybe even a wink from the past. 🍀✨💚

👻 Haunting Updates & Eerie Treasures Await! 👻

Greetings, my dear friends, from the shadows of my desk to yours. The spirits have kept me busy—hunting haunted antiques, updating our booth, and having conversations with our resident ghosts. But amidst the excitement, a shift has occurred…

The White Lady has chosen to step back into the shadows, drained of energy. She needs time to recharge her spectral essence but rest assured—she will return.

In the meantime, we have new eerie treasures waiting for you:

Uranium Glass - its ghostly green glow sets the mood for a haunted dinner or séance

Antique Dolls - some whisper, others watch in silence.

Vintage Medical Instruments - some saved lives, others prolonged the inevitable.

Medical Books with Chilling Illustrations - so vividly detailed, they may haunt your dreams.

Our booth at Heart of Ohio is stocked, and over the next few days, these spectral finds will make their way to Etsy. Do you feel the ghosts calling to you?

Greetings, dear souls,

What is it about January that stirs the urge to retreat into the shadows? Perhaps it’s the icy grip of winter, the lingering spell of the holidays, or that particular, soul-deep darkness that whispers, "Winter reigns supreme." Whatever the cause, it draws me to my lair, urging me to nest until the first thaw.

But as I linger in the stillness of my home, my mind begins to wander... What if a few antique medical instruments found their way to my shelves, casting an eerie charm? Or a haunted doll or two, placed just so, to exude an air of the uncanny? Perhaps a delightfully strange book to read beneath the watchful gaze of Victorian hair art suspended on the wall.

Right now, I’m possessed by a fervor to breathe new (and perhaps a touch unsettling) life into my home—a project or two to pass the time until the world begins to reanimate. If you, too, feel the pull to unearth something peculiar and perfect, venture to HHeart of Ohio Antique Center booth 5124. There, we’ve curated a collection sure to make your otherworldly visions a reality.

If the cold has sealed you into your own wintry crypt, fear not. Our treasures haunt the digital realm as well. Visit us online, https://tnhauntedantiques.etsy.com, where your curiosities can be indulged from the comfort of your eerie abode.

Till then, stay warm… and wonderfully wicked.

Meet Lenora, a truly haunting presence from the 1950s. With her blonde hair, eerie blinking eyes, and a faded blue-purple lace dress, this mischievous doll is far from ordinary. Known for her unsettling behavior—turning her head, blinking when no one's watching, and even falling off the mantle—Lenora is sure to add a chilling touch to any collection.

Her spirit is malicious, and she's not shy about making her presence known—faint giggles, cold drafts, and flickering lights are all part of her charm. Whether displayed as a spooky centerpiece or in a gothic room, Lenora will captivate (and unnerve) anyone who crosses her path.

She's waiting for her next home... if you're brave enough.
