🌱 Compostable ≠ compostable. Let's talk. 🌱

Ever see "compostable" on a package and think, great, into the backyard bin it goes? Not so fast. 👀

🏭 Industrially compostable = needs the high heat of a commercial facility to break down. In a backyard pile, it mostly just sits there.

🏡 Home compostable = breaks down in a regular backyard compost pile. No special facility required.

That's the kind we stock. A few kitchen favorites:

✨ ZWS Essentials cling wrap
✨ Lunchskins freezer bags
✨ Bamboo Switch sponges
✨ Swedish dishcloths in all kinds of prints

When they've done their job, they can go right in with your veggie scraps. 🥕

Not composting yet? No judgment. Progress over perfection, always. 💚 Our sleek Bamboozle countertop compost bins make it easy to start (and they're pretty enough to leave out).

💡 And did you know? In just the first three months of this year, your refills and swaps kept 300+ plastic bottles out of the waste stream. Every small choice adds up. Come see us and keep it going!

NEW in the shop: Kishu Charcoal Water Filter Sticks To Go, aka the water filter that's literally just... a stick. In your water bottle. No plastic cartridge. No gadget. We are obsessed. 🙌

Here's the deal: drop the charcoal stick into your 12-16 oz bottle, fill it up, and it gets to work, pulling out heavy metals like lead, mercury and copper while adding a little calcium, magnesium and potassium back in. Cleaner, better-tasting water wherever you're headed: work, gym, trail, school pickup line. ✨

About the brand: Kishu is a women-owned company that works with artisans in Japan, who fire sustainably harvested oak branches into charcoal and hand-cut every stick. Even the packaging is plastic-free. 🌿

And when your stick is done filtering? It's not done working. Pop it in the fridge to absorb odors, or crumble it into your garden or compost. Nothing wasted. ♻️

Come grab one in-shop and give your water bottle an upgrade. 💧🖤
