This quote spoke to me as we wandered through this beautiful museum at last (so many museums and restaurants on my Santa Fe list that it’s taken a year to get to this one). It’s how I feel about my own Southwest journey.

A million years ago a volcanic eruption created this grassland-covered caldera and the surrounding hills. The historic ranch cabins in the park also add to its beauty. I’m constantly amazed by so many unique landscapes in New Mexico.
