"Give Peace A Chance" is finished! The brass work in the olive branch was new to me--challenging but fun.

It's headed to the Pittsburgh Glass Center for the Society of American Mosaic Artists 100 Moments project.

I wanted to share some pictures of this Mercury Mosaics backsplash from a few weeks ago.

Lots of work went into this before a single tile was set. Plumbing up walls, layout, design, etc.

I'm working on a small mosaic project for the Society of American Mosaic Artists. They have an exhibition titled One Hundred Moments. Each piece of art is 6x6, with a metal frame.

The olive branch will be brass.

My peace dove will be displayed at the Pittsburgh Glass Center.

Throwback to this Zellige tile backsplash from 2024. It's a lovely handmade tile from Morocco. The size and thickness varied, so I let the tile dictate where it went ✌️

The mitered returns were the added touch 👌

Throwback to this powder room project from last fall. The clients wanted something unique and different, and they got it!

The glass hexagons are inlaid in the subway tile. This is a one-of-a-kind accent.

I like clients that think outside of the box, and aren't afraid to take a chance on something different.

Well, I have one wall cut, and another laid out. I'll start setting tomorrow!

Templating is an efficient way to fabricate--it makes installing a breeze ✌️
