There’s something special about finding a piece of driftwood that’s been shaped by Lake Ontario for years. I spend hours walking the shoreline to find the perfect pieces for my handcrafted gnomes and pebble art.

Anyone can sign whatever paper they want. You simply cannot rename what this lake has been for over 400 years, or what it’s meant to the people who’ve lived on its shores. The Iroquois called it Ontari’io, “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”. “Beautiful lake”. It is older than this country, it’ll outlast an executive order too.

Every piece I make carries the spirit of the real thing. Lake Ontario will always be Lake Ontario. ❤️

I'm so excited to share that Lake Ontario Driftworks is donating a raffle basket to the Hilton Alumni Association, Casino Night, filled with some of my handmade creations! 🪵🪨 (Check out the photo for a peek at what's inside!)

As a board member of the Hilton Alumni Association, this event is near and dear to my heart, and I'd love to see familiar faces there!
