ATTENTION! I will be holding a BENEFIT AUCTION in my FB group Antique Vintage Lace Trim Buttons Sewing Notions Clothing Fine Linens, this coming Saturday and Sunday, October 15 and 16! Several dozen beautiful auction lots will be up for your bids, for 2 days only! They will include antique and vintage sewing tools and
notions (including a sterling silver pincushion), lace, linens, and clothing, buttons, accessories, ephemera, and more.

I am grateful to Janice Goodwin of Goodwin's Antiques, Annie McDonald, Mary Peterson, and Pamela Holmden, for joining me and contributing fantastic items to the Benefit Auction.

All proceeds from this Benefit Auction event, after costs and fees, will be donated directly to our contributors' choice of charities (WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN and PROJECT HOPE).

For your consideration an absolutely wonderful 3 bears hooked rug. Over the years I have seen many of this design but never with the artistic workmanship of this one. The background and foreground with all the beautiful colors and shading is spectacular. The 3 bears carrying their bowls of porridge hooked to perfection.
The person who hooked this rug was a master of the craft and a true artist with imagination. Except for the 3 bears this pattern did not have all of the other things you are seeing in the background and foreground. I love the barn!
It's hand hooked on burlap with a #3 cut wool and measures 25" x 36". This rug has been hanging in a smoke free home for 30-40 years and is in excellent condition with no issues.
