We just brought in some great treasures to our new store Zebra Gallery formerly Grannys Attic for 57 years but now new name new location 384 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland NJ...
Come see an almost 4 ft tall in solid Bronze, created in Italy over 50 years ago...Then we got an art deco Sterling silver tea set with tea pot, coffee pot creamer,sugar and waste bowl, Next we brought in a very rare Majolica ELEPHANT with a houda on top with a CLOCK in it.....by Julius Dressler, a 12in cobalt glaze Royal Vienna Urn with handles and classic pictures of ladies in classic dress,, a 24" iron sculpture of a stage coach artist signed,,,,,this is a rare one of a kind, a jade sculpture made into a lamp. more coming in daily/////besides that larges collection of fine paintings 18 19 20 c, plus some modern artists.. Many are signed and listed......
We also have a selection of antique and mid cent modern furnitre, lamps, etc Our prices are much less than we used to be because our over head is greatly reduced....

Commercials on tv are getting ridiculous...There is one commercial of a woman shaving her private parts, and there is a close up of her crotch,that is barely covered Another commercial shows a woman advertising spray deodorant....she has dialogue that she stinks and this product is good for all over her body..and she pulls on her panties and sprays between her legs.
Commercials are too long or there are too many commercial breaks....i counted 7 commercials each break on many programs..and if you are watching a movie...you get 5 min of commercials and 5 min of movie and it takes hours to see a whole movie......
Car commercials are just plain bad, if not dangerous, So many of them show cards speeding and racing..around curves, and on top of mountains,,,and so many are the same....ending at the end of a cliff.This give youngsters a bad message to driving.

wE ARE TOTALLY REARRANGING OUR SECOND FLOOR. FIRST WE ARE WEEDING OUT USELESS STUFF THAT MIGHT NEVER SELL..THROWING AWAY DMAMGED GOODS, TO MAKE THE 1300 SHELVES EASIER TO BROWSE. THEN WE ARE REARRANGE THE FURNITURE TO MAKE MORE ROOM. WE ARE CREATING A MINI RECORD SHOP WITH A FEW THOUSAND RECORDS LPS AND 45S AND SOME 78S. WE REMOVED EVERYTHING FROM ALL THE WALLS AND CREATED A MODERN ART GALLERY,,WITH A HUGE SELECTION OF VERY FUNKY PAINTINGS.. WE TOOK A LOT OF TOYS,DOLLS AND OTHER GIFT ITEMS DOWN STAIRS AND WERE ARE SETTING UP A GIFT AREA. SO WE SHOULD HAVE A NICE NEW LOOK BY THE WEEK END... its looking good already.... Today SAturday, we had 4 extra people organizing and opening up aisles, lighting up lots of new lamps and chandeliers, inclding two MURANO ones, We worked for 8 hours....so many good moves and yet...still jamed. We started trying to catch up putting prices on things....We got another large consignment of furntiure and art...and lots of great stocking stuffers......toys,dolls,glass, china, all kinds of small and ineresting items...a few wonderful and unusual desks.... We had a large Crown today from 10 to after closing... and lots of people were very happy with their purchese..no knetching,,and today...everyone was really very nice to morrow we will continue rearranging....and trying to make displays for holiday gifts.displays will include, Blue and white porcelians, large selelction of real Lladros,Hummerls,figurines of LADIES, Royal daulton Figural mugs, collections of birds, DUCKS,Dogs, ASIAN CHINA

I will continue on with the list from the estate...a wonderful very narrow country farm table with thin drop leaves..but when open, looks like a traditional farm table and not a drop leaf, there is a wonderful hand made primnitive jelly cabinet, and another jelly cabinet, with scalloped doors and backsplash, and a wonderful tiger oak roll top desk,1880 with carved handels and the roll top has as its roll, a tambour roll goes side to side....we got a collection of varied mantle clocks.....of differenrt styles, woods and ages. 1840 to 1900, and one mission oak wall clock, and three great larger coo coo clocks, and two smaller ones...and several hump back Westminister chime clocks...a nice floor lamp with onyx bottom, several MID CENTURY paintings,,,and on and on and on...there will be more from this home..when we go back, the truck was filled

Today i did a follow up on an estate of an antique dealer that i knew a very long time ago. She passed maybe 20 years ago, but her husband lived on until a few months ago, leaving her family a very large collection of "stuff" After the family took what they wanted, they called me in to buy a lot of it....today we got a collection of Blue and grey stoneware, 20 ptchers, many salt boxes, bowls, huge pitcher and bowl in stoneware, rolling pin and other kitchen tools, cannisters et about 70 pieces..then there was a collection of various blue and white china: plates, bowls, tureens, platters, bowls, pitchers, and all kinds of small things.....there is German and Limoges great hand painted floral,fish and animal plates, Depression and other glass, cups and saucers a collection of wooden ware, tree, butter molds, rolling pins , and all kinds of unusual wooden kitchen tools, ladels, spoonds,,,etc
