Gezellig Home We are located at 188 S. River Avenue in downtown Holland. Our name comes from a Dutch word that means warm, welcoming, friendly, and fun.

We choose every product we sell—from plants and pots to candles and cards—with the hope that they will make your life a bit more gezellig.

It’s been such a joy getting to know this shop, our wonderful team, and so many of you over the past few weeks. I’m incredibly grateful to Tony and Melissa for creating such a special place, and I’m excited to help carry Gezellig forward.

We have big news to share! Tony and Melissa have decided to step away from Gezellig, and a wonderful new owner is taking over today! 

After more than eight years, it felt like the right time to hand off the shop to someone new, and just the right person came along. Heather Scholma is excited to carry on the vision of Gezellig and is looking forward to becoming part of the downtown Holland community! Stop in to meet her and learn more of her story!
