We recently put a little poll out to see which label you liked better anddddd… here are the results! 👀

🤍 54% — Clear
🤎 46% — Kraft Brown

What we heard: you love the simplicity and clean look of the clear label, but you also appreciate the rustic, country feel of the Kraft brown.

So for now… I’ll use both! I’ll see how customers react over the next few months to help determine where we land long term. Thank you to those who participated and provided feedback!

We’re ramping up inventory here at 75 Oak as we wrap up the last few days of August! Yesterday, we used 75+ pounds of wax to pour 10oz and 16oz candles in some of your fall favorites.

While I LOVE the summer, I have to admit… I’m looking forward to all the cozy autumn scents.

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted over here! Running and supporting two growing businesses is incredibly rewarding… but also very time consuming. 😅

Over the last few months at 75 Oak, I’ve been focused on fulfilling wholesale orders, pouring candles, and building up our spring + summer inventory behind the scenes. Outside of work, I’ve also been trying to prioritize a little more balance and enjoy life in the slower moments too (see the last few photos ).

So until the next 75 Oak update, enjoy a few recent snapshots lately, and stay tuned because I’ve got some updates coming later this week.

I’m SUPER excited for our new 16oz vessels, now featuring 100% natural, renewable, and biodegradable cork tops that fit snugly on top 🤍

These new vessels are a bit more of an investment, so when I first introduced our original 16oz candles I hesitated to jump straight to this style. But with the incredible response and success of the 16oz line, I knew the time was right to elevate them for this year.

If you’re in New England, take a moment today to breathe deep and let that sunshine hit your face…. Because what a storm and what a winter we’ve had!!!

This morning I carried my coffee out to the back porch (yes, it was freezing) and just stood there under the sun, letting the quiet and the light sink in.

There’s something about the calm after a blizzard, like the start of something good. Fresh, clean, wide open. Maybe this is our reminder that momentum builds in the stillness, too.

A little more of the story behind the details…

In one of the photos for Bridlepath Dew, you’ll notice an old show bridle. It belonged to my gelding, Don’t Zipover Me aka “Elmo.”

Elmo was my last show horse, and eventually I had to sell him to help pay for college. He was an absolute energizer bunny, and the number of hours we spent ponying other horses before we could even think about showing him were countless.

He didn’t always make things easy in the show pen either. I still remember my final Equitation class at the QH congress, I went to quietly ask for the canter, and he promptly rounded his back and let out a big old squeal 🤦‍♀️. But as quickly as it happened, we regrouped, got it together, and went on to finish top five in the class.

He was quirky, talented, and unforgettable. Like so many of the horses that shaped me, his story quietly lives on in our brand. 🖤
