Strawberry for summer. Pumpkin for fall. Same pattern. 🍓🎃

I love finding new ways to use a pattern beyond the original idea, and this one was too fun not to try.

With just a few changes, my Strawberry Hat pattern turned into a little pumpkin hat — same base, completely different seasonal look. 🍂

That’s one of my favorite things about sewing: once you understand the shape, one pattern can inspire so many different versions.

There’s something about William Morris prints that makes even the tiniest project feel a little more special. 🌿🤍

I used this beautiful fabric for my soft lace-up baby booties, and I love how the classic pattern gives such a tiny pair so much character.

They may be baby-sized, but the fabric definitely makes a statement. 🧵

This is one of the things I love about sewing for baby boys — I’m not limited to whatever happens to be in the stores.

Sometimes the options for boys can feel a little repetitive, but with the right fabric, even a tiny pair of baby shoes can have so much personality. I really love how this print changed the whole look of these booties. 🤎

Sometimes I just don’t have the energy or motivation to start a big project, but I still really want to sew something. 🧵

That’s when I love little projects like these. I can sit down at my machine, enjoy the process, and actually see a finished result pretty quickly. Sometimes that’s exactly what I need to get excited about sewing again. 🤎

I’ve made little fabric flowers before, mostly as details for my sewing projects. But this time I just kept making them… and ended up with a whole bouquet. 💐

And now, of course, I want to make more 😄

Baby bloomers don’t have to disappear when summer ends. 🍂

For fall, I’d style this pair with soft tights, a little cream or rust-colored cardigan, and the matching baby booties in the same fabric. The bloomers still stay the fun part of the outfit, but the coordinated booties pull everything together and make the whole look feel extra special for cooler days.

I especially love this print for fall because it already has all those warm seasonal colors — and the lace adds just enough of a vintage touch. 🤍
