I may have mentioned earlier this spring that I was attempting to grow ranunculus after taking a year off. They are one of those diva flowers that like the cool, but not frost, and will go dormant if they get too hot. This means covering from the extreme cold, and shading them in the warmer days of Spring.

They have taken their sweet time (and are taking up valuable space 🤪), but they are finally blooming! I don’t have a ton to share and they will probably only be around through next weekend, but if you are interested in a bud vase ($12) or vase arrangement ($30) with a mix of these and other flowers I have blooming such as feverfew & yarrow, please send me a message. Good afternoon! I hope you all are enjoying this weather as much as I am! ☀️

I’ve had a few people reach out for last minute graduation bouquets for today and tomorrow and I currently have availability for a few more! 🎓

The one pictured is a small/mini bouquet which are $20, but I can customize to accommodate for $30-$40 bouquets as well. These are a mix of flowers grown by me as well as some that were thoughtfully sourced. If you’d like to grab one, please send me a quick message. Happy Saturday, flower friends! I just finished these flowers for a graduation party and had to share their beauty with you! She wanted garden-like flowers in hot and light pinks and oranges. 💕

I have a few extra flowers and would love to spread some flower love with all of you. I can do mixed wrapped bouquets ($30-$40) of roses and peonies, bud vases ($15), or jar/vase arrangements ($40). Wishing you all a reflective and meaningful Memorial Day weekend as we honor the brave men and women who sacrificed for us and our freedom. 🇺🇸

It’s always around this time that the peonies start to show their faces and I am happy to report they are here! I did have some loss due to the freezing temperatures and a few are slower coming on. I have some reserved for special orders for this weekend, but I do have limited availability!

A still life on the day that celebrates those that are anything but still. Our minds and hearts are in a million different places at once, always thinking of what else needs to be done, who needs to be where when, keeping up with closets and drawers full of outgrown clothes and yearning to hold on to a few pieces for each age and stage, concerned for preparing them enough for their futures, teaching them the world is a hard and beautiful place, letting them fail and be bored when everything around them moves million miles an hour, holding on to these days because one day it will be “those days”, and loving them every step of the way, even on the hard days.

I hope you didn’t have to do any dishes today and if you were celebrating your mom, or remembering her, I hope it was a good day filled with new and old memories. ❤️
