In 2008, the construction market crashed, and I found myself laid off alongside my entire team. At that exact time, my wife was pregnant with our first child. With no jobs in sight and a growing family to provide for, I realized I had to cr
eate my own future. I took my years of union-trained expertise and launched Dr. Paint INC. I was inspired by the idea that I could provide better, more personal service directly to my neighbors. Every project we take on isn't just a job to me it's a reflection of the hard work and resilience that allowed me to build this business for my family and my community. About Dr. Paint INC

Established in 2008. How We Got Started. My painting journey began in 2000 when I started working with a major union company. I served my apprenticeship at the Chicago Area Painting and Decorating J.A.T.C. in Berkeley, IL, and within the first week, I knew instantly that this was my life's calling. After three years of training, I graduated and became a foreman, managing large-scale residential and commercial projects for major builders like Toll Brothers, Ryland Homes, Pulte Homes, and Montalbano Homes. When the market crashed in 2008, my entire team was laid off. With my wife pregnant with our first child and no jobs on the horizon, I decided to take a leap and open my own business: Dr. Paint INC. While the early days were a challenge, we built a foundation of trust with our customers. Today, my crew and I are proud to continue serving the community with the same dedication and quality that started it all.
