This post blew up in my stories, so I wanted it to live on my feed 💕

So, I forgot the name of this super special pink bombax flower & called it Lorax flower, haha…it doesn’t it look like something from Dr. Seuss!
Thank you everyone who commented.

This is not Ohia Lehua.

It’s from the Bombax tree aka Shaving Brush tree, and the blossoms are heaving & fall on the ground.

The tree blooms between February & April and these gorgeous blooms last only but a day or so.

The timing was perfect so brought it to my private lesson with the beautiful .yen to enjoy in her lei po’o.

Hope the temporary nature of all the seasonal blooms bring you into greater presence & appreciation that the only thing constant is change.
May you flow with it.
