🥲Yes another one bites the dust, but it was a wonderful experience and I appreciate all of you for being a part of it!💕People like you who shop small and shop local keep communities alive and interesting, giving people a chance to run a small business, and contribute to the local economy and support other small businesses. For those of you wondering why we’re closing: tbh we’ve been barely getting by with setbacks from the beginning and now-
•rising costs of living means less spending on retail
•tariff fluctuations meant we lost some core vendors/ prices drastically increased on imports
•the war’s increase in fuel costs has and will continue to drive prices up on shipping costs- our margins were already slim
•and the worst- Amazon (retailers’ biggest competitor) is continuing to scale which will attract more consumer spending while siphoning more money out of local communities and inevitably edge out more small businesses.
