Kat Reeder Art Peruvian-American designer and illustrator based in Honolulu, HI. My name is Kat Reeder and I am a Peruvian-American artist based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

I have been a full-time artist since 2009. I grew up in Miami, Florida where art, music, and fashion from around the world inspired my bold style. My interest in tropical imagery began with Barbie Dolls, Disney Movies, Pin-Up Art and 70s Latina Glam. From portraits to movie posters (and now makeup), I aim to infuse my love of paradise into everything I create. I hope it will bring you joy.

Thank you Poster Posse for inviting me to be part of this passion project for The Odyssey.

I’ve really challenged myself over the past few weeks to push beyond beautiful images towards stronger visual narratives. It’s not an easy thing to do when you’re a team of one. I’ve had to be my toughest critic.

I wanted this concept to focus on the female part of the Odyssey story…one of courage and resolve in the face of longing and uncertainty.

I’d love your thoughts. Really looking forward to this film!
