At their most recent National Convention in Washington D.C., Budget Blinds—the largest window coverings franchise in the nation—produced a runway fashion show that sent models down the catwalk in a stunning number of clothing designs made from drapery materials.

The runway fashion show featured the latest fabrics from Inspired Drapes; a private label brand available exclusively through Budget Blinds. The fashion show was conceived to show how curtains and draperies can act as couture for your windows in order to help bring out the best in your home. The styles reflected emerging trends for the spring including pastels, florals, and flowing fabrics.

“I was looking for a creative and unique way to present new Inspired Drapes fabric lines and thought this was the perfect way of doing it,” said Tracy Christman, Vice President of Vendor Alliance at Budget Blinds and the mastermind behind the fashion show. “Many consumers don’t realize that drapery designs are often inspired by runway trends. I hope the event showed how fashionable window coverings can be!”
