Kitchen design for a room with more windows than walls.
Great problem to have. Still a problem. Here's how we solved it:
1. Go tall where you can. Full-height pantry cabinets on the one solid wall carry the storage the windows took away.
2. Put open shelves in the corners. They hold the everyday things without blocking a single inch of light.
3. Make the island the workhorse. Cooktop, prep, storage, all of it facing the view.
More light, less wall, enough storage. Save this before your first meeting with your designer.
