It was a great day ! 🎄🎁

Thank you to every one of you who stopped by to look at our work, learn a little bit about woodworking, or purchase a little something for gift giving 🎁 or for yourself 😉. Please know your kind words and support are so appreciated.

And to our fellow booth mates in the freight shed - we enjoyed meeting you and being with you today and wish you all the happiest of holidays!

And lastly, what a joy to close out one of our last market weekends of 2024 in Hopewell among friends and neighbors in our hometown. Anita grew up here and Mark made Hopewell his home almost 25 years ago!

It made our day to see and talk with neighbors, our boys’ Troop 71 Cub Scout leader and Troop 44 Boy Scour leader, Drew’s 3rd Grade teacher 😊, fellow track & field Mom from Kyle’s 400m hurdle days (and booth neighbor ), and so many more including my Mom, and my sister Elsie and bro-in-law Verne 💕 (who always come out to cheer us on!) We love and appreciate you all!

And finally-a very special THANK YOU to Jessica (and your husband and daughter 👍🏻) for all your hard work to make a success.

Green.

Remember the Crayola Crayon 64 colors box? The one with the built in sharpener?

In 1959, there were 11 - count them 🖐🏼🖐🏼☝🏼
- 11 different colors of green.

Aquamarine.
Blue Green.
Forest Green.
Green.
Green Blue.
Green Yellow.
Olive Green.
Pine Green.
Sea Green.
Spring Green.
Yellow Green.

11 seemed like alot of shades of green back in the day.

Fast forward and the color explosion know as Pantone (PMS) has 2,390 basic colors - some of them “green.”

And you know that feeling when your head is going to explode standing in front of the zillion color swatches at Home Depot, Lowe’s, Benjamin Moore, or Sherwin Williams ….. well that’s the feeling we get mixing an epoxy color …. because the pigment is an art - not a science - and it’s mixed ESPECIALLY. FOR. YOU.
