We are proud to have “The Lightning of Desert Storm” by renowned military artist James Dietz available at Staton’s Art & Framing.

This powerful limited-edition print depicts the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) during the opening day of the ground campaign of Operation Desert Storm on February 24, 1991. That morning, the 101st conducted what was, at the time, the largest air assault operation in the history of warfare, striking deep into Iraq and securing Forward Operating Base Cobra.

The artwork captures the soldiers, Humvees, helicopters, and aircraft involved in the operation, commemorating the courage and coordination of the men and women who served during Desert Storm.
