Good morning. I haven't been on here in awhile. Guess I have a lot to share.
To start with, I had to make a sudden trip to Florida. My son, Jory, was gravely ill. It was a grueling trip there. He was on a ventilator and I was never able to talk with him. On my 8th day there, March 23rd he passed away. I stayed there just a few days short of a month.
And secondly, yes we had planned to move to Florida to be with our children there. After Jory's passing away we're no longer sure of what we want. I just knew that I was not ready to be back out in the public yet. I had told my partner that I would return the following Wednesday.
After some really hard 😪 processing I decided I could no longer work with a partner, so the only option was to leave the business. I set my exit date as the end of April.
I was reminded that the building was still for sale and had been offered to both of us at the very beginning of this undertaking. After a couple of days of weighing the pros and cons, Leroy and I decided to purchase the building.
There will be no extreme changes. Obviously the name will be changed and I will resume being open every Sunday.
