Yesterday at my miniature retreat, I learned how to throw pottery, and I have a whole new appreciation for anyone who can do this well. 😂

It looks so calm and effortless when someone else is doing it.

Then you sit down at the wheel and suddenly the clay has other plans.

I made a few little pots, learned a lot, and would absolutely try it again. 💛

At my miniature retreat today, I took a painting class and made this little ghost in the forest. 👻🌲

Not something I would normally sit down and paint on my own, which is probably exactly why I loved it.
