I loved it all, cooking, baking, drawing, painting, DIYing, coloring, music, making furniture, etc. Growing up, my family only wanted the best for me so they talked me into becoming a veterinarian and that is the career I started to go to college for, but then I took a painting class and it all changed from there. I realized I was fighting the passion and talents God gave me to make art and I took
a leap of faith and changed careers. While in college, I got married and had two beautiful little girls who kept me busy and this made it take a little longer to finish my degree. After I graduated, I decided I would like to be an Art teacher and show students how to express themselves through art. As I was working on my certification, the Covid pandemic hit and I decided I would stay home with my kids for now, but I needed to find work that I could do from home. From this need and desire to protect my kids came SolidRockDesignCo where I make custom ink drawings, digital watercolor paintings, and my own paintings. I have loved this journey so far and hope my little shop can help make it possible for me to stay home a little longer with my kids!
