I had so much fun making this set crayons for one of my best friends, , for her preschools silent auction. She told me the theme was arts and crafts, and gave me a budget and let me loose!

I love how this project shows how each crochet plushy is its own unique creation. All six were made by the same pattern with the same brand of yarn, but they’re all unique in their own special way.

Quilting is inherently emotional. I’ve been working on baby quilts for Elijah and his two cousins from their Great-Grandmother’s fabric stash. Last night I was piecing the back for the last quit. I unfolded the fabric and was overwhelmed with the smell of Mamaw. We’re nearing a year without her and it’s amazing how emotional I still get working on projects that literally have her name and smell all over them.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I made 18 of these adorable sugar cookies for my son to take to his class party today! Wrapping them up in individual boxes really added to their preciousness! I left off the safety eyes since these are going to a class full of toddlers. I suspect I’ll be baking up themed cookies for every party moving forward! ❤️🩷🍪
