Primary bedroom reveal 🤎✨

Great client who really trusted me to give him a calm, masculine but interesting bedroom. It was such a joy to see it all come together!

This space was all about quiet luxury and layered warmth. We grounded the room with rich, dark wood floors and let creamy walls soften everything around them. Texture does the heavy lifting here—linen bedding dressed in a deep walnut brown duvet, oversized pillows, a giant lumbar moment with touches of burnt orange, and a cozy waffle blanket casually thrown for that “effortless but intentional” feel.

Modern black lamps add contrast and a little edge, while textured art keeps the walls interesting without shouting. The upholstered bed with wood posts brings balance, flanked by wood + metal nightstands for a subtle mix of materials. And the dresser? Large, warm, and sophisticated—finished off with an oversized lamp and art because scale always matters.

Calm, layered, and inviting… exactly how a primary bedroom should feel. 🤎

Beautiful primary bathroom remodel happening soon! We have started planning and designing which has me thinking back on some my favorite bathrooms!! This one is dreamy!

Beautiful remodeled bathroom — remade and reimagined! The clients requested a design that was both traditional and modern, while also organized and restful. They wanted a neutral palette but with a little pop of color that would work with the adjoining bedroom. I think we got it all!

The polished nickel metal finishes brought in the traditional but the lines and shapes used were more modern. I’m so happy that they agreed to the gorgeous blue for the custom vanity that brought in a favorite color and worked so well with the existing flooring. The vanity design increased their storage and improved daily function of the space.

The family had never used the old tub which we replaced with a sleek rectangular tub that just fit the space under the window and finished it off with a dramatic wall mounted faucet. Gorgeous!

Still to come is a pretty print on a Roman shade for the window. Bathroom remodels are not for the faint of heart. They are expensive and time consuming, but with careful planning and good design the process can go smoothly. Having a beautiful and well functioning space that is used every day is something that can really improve the quality of daily living. That’s a good investment!

The Dining Room is completed and dressed up for dinner! I found the perfect vintage painting last spring at Round Top but hesitated to buy it. After thinking about it for six months, I went back to the fall market and found it still there! The colors are so beautiful with the wallpaper and the shepherd with his sheep is charming and meaningful to me.

The table by has a sweet vantage charm while still having clean lines. Chairs by are covered in a performance fabric and very comfortable!
The matching sideboards by were such a find at High Point last spring. They are the perfect shade of grey green and also perfectly sized for this narrow room!

The light fixture from is a showstopper that everyone stops to look at more closely!

I love a pretty dining room and one of my favorite things ever is to set a table for a dinner party with anticipation of the laughs and good conversation to come.

Never underestimate the power of wallpaper, lighting and art to make your room come alive. Check out my stories to see what this room looked like in the beginning! If your dining room isn’t exciting you, let’s talk and see what we can dream up!

This summer, I was blessed to have Abigail on the NMD team as an interior design intern! From pulling together design boards, updating spreadsheets, running down samples, she was helpful to bring my client’s dream spaces to life.

Abigail is back to the University of Arkansas for her final year, and while we’re excited to see all the amazing things ahead for her, we’re going to miss her so much!

Fittingly, her last night on the job was a marathon client meeting where we selected everything — from flooring to bedding!

Thank you, Abigail, for your hard work, creativity, and wonderful energy this summer. We’re cheering you on as you finish school strong! 🎓✨

Over the summer, I’ll be teaching her all the ins and outs of interior design — from concept development to sourcing, styling, and what it takes to run a small business day to day. She’s already proving to be such a delight to work with, and I can’t wait for you to see what she helps us create!

Stay tuned for a behind-the-scenes look at her journey with us this summer!
