S2000 Mugen Hardtop? Yes! The model is finally complete and available.

This took way longer than id like to admit, but it turned out quite well. 3D Scanned using a Einstar, a Mugen top, and modeled in Fusion to match the same mounting points, seal clearances, and sexy curves of the original!

Wanted to address some concerns that Ive noticed people discussing.

I admittedly haven't been as attentive as I would like to be on this account recently. This has led to some people feeling ignored or misguided. I try to make time to cover the business side of FezCreations, but holidays, family, and a full time job can effect those at a moments notice and often take up most of my attention.

The products I provide are not simple and do take a fairly deep understanding of 3d printing, construction, materiality, and problem solving to arrive at a finished product. I advise those who are new to assembling large car parts to take things slowly, test often, and get outside of your comfort zone. If time, space, and factory quality are a concern, these may not be the best solutions.

This is something I do in my free time. I try to help, but I am not a perfect customer service bot.

The most common question is typically those asking for print settings or machines. This is just what I have found to work, most printers are different and individual users may have different preferences. Ive got other printers, but this is my favorite for large prints.

Printer Base:
Creality Ender 5 Plus (350mm x 350mm x 400mm)
I like that the bed only moves in the Z-axis, reducing any artifacts that my happen with bed-slingers. Also HUGE

Modifications:
Glass build plate with Garolite build surface.-
-Absolute game changer, this is something I would say is a NEED for printing with ASA. The print will not lift from the build surface, and the glass plate is rigid, so there is no lifting of the build surface itself like with magnetic beds. Use screw down clamps rather that spring clips.

X-Axis Linear Rail. 450mm-
-Zero wobble, greatly improves surface quality & speed. Keeps extruder consistent, POM wheels need too much upkeep for me.

Microswiss NG Extruder with REVO hotend-
-Convenient for printing with different nozzle sizes. Extruder is very smooth and the cooling assembly is a huge upgrade for most stock heads.

Enclosure-
-Flame resistant lighting, keeps chamber at ~50c. When its colder in my print room, ill add a bathroom heater bulb ~150w.

Been a bit busy lately, but Ive continued to refine the files & continue development for others. Some updates that will be released soon will be:
-Targa models for the NA/NB with dowel pin connections
-All NA/NB tops now have mounting blocks based on 3d scans & dowel connection to shell panels
-Few updated sizes (ask for details)
-My printer setup & settings
-Probably remake my personal hardtop & document build process for dowel assembly.

Made a little 10mm keychain thing! Come with all physical orders, especially useful for the targas.
It can be used with a 3/8” drive or 18mm socket/wrench. Probably best to keep it in the in/lbs range 😅

NA/NB Top Update!

I have reworked the top to use 4mm x 30mm metal dowels between the panels to conceal anything that would have previously been exposed during the building process and use of zipties. This also allows the top to be much more rigid during assembly, significantly cutting build time.

It is also sliced in new ways for 300x300x400 & 300x300x300 printers to eliminate the need of and supports! The larger printer now is 17 pieces, down from 18.

Update! Ive decided to start using 4mmx30mm steel dowels rather than the previous alignment system. Currently only available @ 300x300x400. Photos show where dowels are placed along the updated panel layout.
