Got a headache today, but I promised myself I would get this done this weekend! Even “created errands” to stall - thinking I’d let myself out of painting. NOT! Got back and made myself paint. 😀 Mission accomplished.

This one is oils - finished this one today. It almost got the better of my patience. I kept putting my hand in the wet paint and smudging the white spaces. Decided to do little paint speckles to camouflage my fixes for the boo boos.

Today’s work “sunset palms” - all freehand … in acrylic paint. Better blending - still needs work. Will try something I learned yesterday with oils next weekend.

My feline friend brings me endless joy! I keep his chow on the dining room table to prevent the puppers from snacking (who needs a clean table, anyway?). This morning, he spilled some food outside of his bowl and decided to 'sweep' it closer with the elegant tablecloth. 😂
