We were so excited to welcome second and third grade students from Pink Elementary in Lamar CISD to the Arcadis office for Innovation Day on Tuesday and Wednesday this week!

During their visit, students participated in hands-on learning sessions including:

• Wind and Fractions
• Science and Microscopes
• Earth and Layers
• Weight of Water
• Occupations

They also had the opportunity to learn more about Arcadis and tour our office space.

It’s always inspiring to spark curiosity and introduce students to the many possibilities within design, science, engineering, and the built environment. Hopefully, we may have met a few future Architects and Interior Designers!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day engaging, educational, and memorable for these students.

Last week, we had the opportunity to attend Tomball ISD’s State of the District—and what an inspiring morning it was.

We heard from Superintendent Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora as she shared a powerful look at where the district is today and the exciting vision ahead. From continued growth to a deep commitment to student success, it’s clear that Tomball ISD is truly living out its “Destination District” mindset.

Today our team participated in a window flashing and weather barrier workshop with Nathan Rife and Chris Moore of Henry Company and Carlisle Construction Materials.

We got a hands-on look at what it really takes to keep water out of our buildings and why the details behind the walls matter. Grateful for the opportunity to keep learning and strengthening our understanding of the building envelope.

Getting into the holiday spirit never looked so sweet! A huge congratulations to our Arcadis team for participating—and winning two categories—at the 16th Annual AIA Gingerbread Build-Off.

The team took home Best Holiday Theme and Lights, Camera, Confection for their creative masterpiece, Christmas at Shrek’s Swamp.
