A Toronto-based interior design firm whose work always makes me look twice. In their Heathdale project, I was mesmerized by their use of white light fixtures set against warm wood and cream tones. The concern 10 years ago seemed to be, “Will the whites match?” And today, talented designers are showing time & again that the question is not will they match, but how can we layer the design to create a symphony of tones and textures, similar to what we’d see in nature. And here they do it so beautifully! This is me, focusing on this marble. 🧘🏻‍♀️ A kitchen moment that stopped me in my tracks by . Love spying for ’s Elliot Grande Pendant overhead, made of concrete and hanging from a jewelry-like brass chain. Part of the allure of this piece, to me, is the intriguing 30” width and shallow 11.75” height, creating a feel that is somehow both expansive and light.
