PGAL transformed a one-mile stretch of Wilcrest Drive in Houston with major roadway and drainage improvements that address chronic flooding, improve mobility, and create safer connections for drivers and pedestrians.

From upgrades beneath the roadway to a better experience at street level, the completed project makes Wilcrest work better for the community that uses it every day.

As part of our PGAL 80th Anniversary Give Back Days, our Dallas-Fort Worth team rolled up their sleeves alongside Our Helping Hearts to prepare sandwiches for neighbors in need.

It was a simple way to make a difference and a reminder that small acts, done together, can have a big impact.

Through its mission of serving individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, Our Helping Hearts continues to make a meaningful difference throughout the community, and we were grateful for the opportunity to lend a hand.

Our PGAL 80th Anniversary Give Back Days continued in Denver with Food Bank of the Rockies!

Our team spent the day packing bags of food that will be distributed through local schools for students to take home over the weekend. By the time we wrapped up, 1,700 bags were packed and ready to go.

Thank you to Food Bank of the Rockies for welcoming our team and for the important work you do throughout the community. We’re grateful to celebrate 80 years with another day spent giving back.

A new chapter in campus living is taking shape at Tarleton State University. Construction is underway on Regents Hall, a five-story residence hall designed by PGAL that will bring nearly 1,000 new beds to campus.

Building on a 127-year legacy of accessible, high-quality education, Tarleton continues to invest in its future, creating a campus where academic excellence and student life thrive. Regents Hall advances that vision, giving more students the opportunity to live, learn, connect, and excel within the Tarleton community.

Working alongside our design-build partners at Manhattan/CARCON, PGAL is helping create a dynamic new residential experience for Tarleton students in Stephenville.

More than two decades separate these two projects, showing just how long Consolidated Rental Car Facilities (ConRACs) and ground transportation facilities have been part of PGAL’s aviation story.

Completed in 2003, the facility at George Bush Intercontinental Airport brought nine rental car agencies together on a 200-acre campus and became a national benchmark for large-scale ConRAC development.

Today, we’re bringing that depth of experience to Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), leading the planning and design of a new multi-use transportation hub that brings rental car operations, ground transportation, and passenger connectivity together while supporting RNO’s continued growth.

As PGAL celebrates 80 years, putting projects more than 20 years apart side by side gives us a chance to recognize the expertise that connects them.

Our Alexandria office kicked off another of our PGAL 80th Anniversary Give Back Days with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA), which just happens to be celebrating 80 years of its own!

The team spent the day building sensory enrichment planters for the animals in AWLA’s care, filling them with dog-friendly herbs for new scents to sniff and explore, plus plenty of catnip for the cats. More than 100 toys were also donated to keep the fun going long after our visit.

And because the animals at AWLA are pretty hard to resist, one of our own left with plans to adopt a cat. We’d call that a pretty successful Give Back Day.

Thank you to AWLA for welcoming us and for everything you do for Alexandria’s animals and the community. Sharing this milestone with an organization that has spent the past eight decades giving back to its own community made the day even more special.

1946 was a pretty good year for getting started.

The Petroleum Club of Houston and PGAL both trace their beginnings to that year. Our paths crossed in 1963, when PGAL helped the club make its move to the ExxonMobil Building, creating a new setting for business, dining and Houston’s social scene.

Fast-forward more than 60 years and the social scene has loosened its tie. At Gravity Heights, gathering looks a little different, with craft b**r, shared plates and plenty of room to settle in indoors or out.

The setting has changed. The dress code definitely has. But a great place to spend time together never goes out of style.

Putting some muscle behind a great cause!

PGAL Alexandria teamed with Turner Construction Company to take on the 2026 Dulles Plane Pull at Washington Dulles International Airport.

Together, the team tackled the challenge of pulling an 82-ton aircraft, all in support of Special Olympics Virginia and the athletes and programs it serves across the Commonwealth.

Strong teams. Stronger communities. We’ll flex for that!
