🚀 Our team had a great time at the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) PDC Summit—especially proud of our Director of Interiors and this year's AAHID President, Stephanie Fallon, MS IIDA CHID and her role as a panelist in the Closing General Session.

Stephanie spoke on the panel “Resilience by Design: Preparing Healthcare Environments for Disruption and Disaster,” sharing insights on how healthcare facilities can be designed to withstand and recover from everything from natural disasters to system failures and emerging threats.

The session brought together leaders across planning, design, engineering, and clinical communities to explore real‑world strategies for building resilient, future‑ready healthcare environments.

From impactful discussions like this to meaningful connections throughout the event, the PDC Summit was an inspiring experience for our entire team. We’re excited to bring these insights back and continue delivering thoughtful, resilient solutions for our partners and clients.

Our team had a fantastic time at last week’s AIA Houston Health SES event at the Texas Medical Center 3 Collaborative Building! We enjoyed participating, listening to the speakers, and supporting the program as a Gold Sponsor. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared insights, and made the event such a success.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Bryan Waters who recently earned his Doctorate from Texas A&M University! 🎓

Bryan's dissertation, "Stakeholder Perceptions of Architectural Services and Professional Attributes,” explored how healthcare facility owners, architects, contractors, and academic design instructors perceive architectural services — shining a light on the gray areas that shape project success.

Bryan says his doctoral work has already shifted how he views team dynamics and collaboration — reminding us all of the importance of listening, understanding each stakeholder's role, and building a strong foundation for successful projects.

One quote from Bryan perfectly captures both his mindset and our team culture: “If you’re living, you should be learning.”

And his advice for anyone considering a doctoral path? “Do it! Our profession needs more research — the industry can only benefit from greater knowledge.”

Staying active and energized 💪 As a health-focused firm, we weave fitness into our work-life balance. Our team brought the heat at two active competitions: volleyball 🏐 and DPR co****le tournament 🎯. Our volleyball crew crushed it with a 5th place finish out of 15 teams, and everyone walked away with high-fives, laughs, and sore legs. 😅 Plus, our commitment to wellness isn’t just for special events — we kick off each day with group stretches to keep our minds sharp and our bodies moving.
