A quiet nook in a formal living room is one of my favorite seating arrangements. It brings a sense of versatility to the space. A place to linger over morning coffee, settle in with your iPad, or enjoy a cocktail with a friend. Thoughtful moments like this make a formal living room feel all the more livable. Soft morning light drapes across the curved banquette, catching the marble just right.

No two bars alike. Every one of them poured with intention.  From rich quartzite to varying metal finishes, and bold colors, every bar we design tells its own story.  Cheers to the weekend.

The smallest room gets the longest look. Carrara marble and marbled paper come together to make every detail count. A small space defined by material, craftsmanship, and character.

Some rooms are inherited. This one was collected. Chippendale-style chairs, iron chandeliers, blue grasscloth, and passed-down porcelain give this dining room a story all its own.

Steel-framed windows, drapery pulled back to let the ironwork lead. Tiger-print chairs set close around a gray linen sofa. Brass mirrors paired on the wall, but never matched. A stone mantel keeps it simple, one piece of art, no crowd of frames.

Happy Labor Day! The unofficial end of summer is here…kids are back in school, routines are returning and fall is just around the corner.

It was a busy summer in the studio, with projects moving forward, installations underway and plenty happening behind the scenes. We’re grateful for a full season of work and looking forward to everything ahead this fall.

Make new friends, and keep the old.

This antique Spanish mirror from SHABBY SLIPS HOME was one of the first things I bought for this Houston project. I had an immediate “aha” moment and knew it would help set the tone for the room. We paired it with Schumacher’s Dynasty Wrapped Console and lighting by Vaughan Designs, bringing old and new together in a way I’ve always loved.
