We love seeing a design trend come to life in our own projects. 🤎

For 5409 Chevy Chase, we worked with Derek James Homes to develop the finish selections throughout the home, including this warm, modern kitchen where stained wood cabinetry brings depth, texture, and character to the space.

Laurie shared her perspective on this very trend in Kitchen & Bath Design News, discussing the return of stained wood cabinetry and why she believes it has staying power well beyond 2026.

Today’s stained woods feel warmer, more nuanced, and more thoughtfully layered than what we have seen in the past. This kitchen is a perfect example of how natural wood can feel both modern and timeless.

We love partnering with builders on spec homes, remodels, and new construction projects to create thoughtful designs that stand out in today’s market while still feeling livable for the future homeowner.
