The courage of Iran’s women never stops amazing me.
Iran’s women’s national football team refused to sing the regime’s anthem and immediately their families back home were threatened.

At their next game, under intense pressure, they were forced to sing. But as their bus left the stadium, supporters saw something chilling… three players quietly making the international hand signal for help from the window.

Since then, five players have managed to escape. The fate of the rest is still unknown.

These women risked everything just to show the world the truth.
If they can be that brave, the least we can do is make sure their story is heard. Please share their voices. 💚🦁❤️

Today I’m especially thinking about the brave women of Iran the women who have shown the world what courage, strength, and resilience truly look like. Women who have risked everything just to live with freedom and dignity.

As an Iranian woman myself, I’m proud of their strength and their voice. Their fight is not just for Iran, it’s for every woman who believes in a world where women are free, respected, and equal.

Today we celebrate women everywhere the strong ones, the quiet ones, the fighters, the dreamers.

If you stayed silent while the Iranian regime imprisoned, tortured, and killed its own people for decades don’t suddenly pretend to be an expert on Iran today.

For 47 years, Iranians have been beaten in the streets, executed for protesting, and silenced for demanding the most basic human rights. Women jailed for showing their hair (including myself). Students shot for asking for freedom. Families terrified to even speak.

So before spreading ignorance or repeating propaganda, educate yourself. Listen to the voices of Iranians who have lived under this brutality their entire lives.

The people of Iran are not asking for sympathy.
They are asking the world to stop ignoring their suffering and stand with them.

Silence helps dictators.
Truth helps people.

Be the voice of those who cannot speak.

Right now, Iranians outside of Iran are living with the most complicated mix of emotions.

Hope… that maybe one day our homeland will finally be free.
Fear… because our families are still there.

The phone lines are cut.
The internet is down.
And millions of us are staring at our phones, waiting for a message that may never come.

We celebrate the possibility of change… while praying our loved ones stay safe through the chaos.

To the people inside Iran: you are not alone.
The world is watching.
And we will keep being your voice until the light finally wins over the darkness.
