These 2 side tables are an example of not knowing where you will end up when you start. The top is made of gem stones you find at the dollar store. I glued each down and the last step, I mixed up an epoxy and poured over it to fill the gaps. I was trying to a achieve a sorta tortoise effect using paint an alcohol inks.

I picked up this 3 piece 70's bedroom set from a garage sale and the desk from Craigslist. I wanted the look and feel of a locker room. I painted a zinc finish on the outside and layered different colors of red over gray for the drawers. I used fabric for a few of the drawers. I made the Baseball bed and mattress base from scratch. I cut the baseball( first time that I ever used a jigsaw) out of plywood and upholstered in white vinyl, painting the red faux threads. I got no help from my son's rabbit, in fact she started chewing on the corners. I bought aluminum ceiling trim and painted a faux iron finish and nailed to each corner. Took FOREVER to do that.

I don't have a Before. This an an Antique Door with just the right amount of Chippy Paint that covered with glass. The door is supported by 2 cast iron vintage sewing machine bases that I applied a weathered patina finish. It is used as our dining room table at our Lake House
