I purchased one of Kadito’s bags and every time I use it, people comment how much they love it. So, I thought that I would share it here. Let’s all support this very talented artist and order a bag from Kadito. Kedito’s shop on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/shop/Kedito. Check this artist out. Her bags are wonderful.

I am spending time sketching and sipping pineapple juice in Galveston today. For 2026, I find myself asking, ‘Who are you no longer willing to be, and where do you want to find joy?’ Complicated questions for complicated times.

The pencil in my hand feels more honest than the noise of the world lately. As the tide pulls back from the shore, it isn’t dramatic; it’s patient, and it simply takes what’s loose. I’m deciding which versions of myself to let it carry away, and which seeds I’m finally ready to plant.

I am going through some old portfolio sketches in preparation for the student sale at Glassell next week. These are from my past life studying fashion. It seems like they are from a whole lifetime ago.

This is the last week to see the Block XXV exhibition at the Levant Gallery, in Houston. Don’t miss it.
