At B+A Architecture, we believe great design starts with understanding the full potential of a property. Recently, our team had the opportunity to present a rezoning and development vision to the local community for a project at 2922 Summit Street in Kansas City.

By strategically guiding the rezoning process from R-6 to R-1.5, we are helping transform a 6,421 SF site into a thoughtfully designed new 4-unit residential development — maximizing land value while maintaining compatibility with the surrounding neighborhood.

This project is more than just increasing density. It’s about:

🚀 Milestone Achieved: 10 States and Growing

B+A Architecture has officially expanded to 10 licensed states, doubling our footprint since 2024.

Our newest milestone includes Oklahoma, where both individual licensure and firm authorization were successfully secured in April 2026.

We are now actively operating across:
Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and New York.

This achievement reflects our continued growth, strong team effort, and commitment to delivering design excellence across multiple regions.

🚀 **Milestone Alert! B+A Architecture is officially licensed in 10 states!** 🚀

Back in 2024, our firm's footprint covered 5 great states: Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Iowa, and New York. Fast forward to today, and we are incredibly proud to announce that we have doubled our geographic reach to 10 states!

This week marks a major celebration for the firm as we officially plant our flag in our 10th state: 𝐎𝐤𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚. A huge congratulations to Thong Thai, who was officially granted his Oklahoma Architect license on April 14, 2026. The very next day, on April 15, 2026, B+A Architecture LLC was officially issued its Certificate of Authority by the Oklahoma Board of Governors of Architects.

We are beyond excited to bring our design expertise to Oklahoma, alongside our other recently added active regions in Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas, and South Carolina.

GOOD NEWS – BEGINNING OF APRIL!

PERMIT APPROVED – THE GRAND SPA, LITTLE ROCK, AR

We’re excited to share that the Building Permit has been officially approved and issued for The Grand Spa (6,013 SF Tenant Improvement) in Little Rock, Arkansas!

This milestone marks the successful completion of design, coordination, and city approval — and we are now ready to move forward into the construction phase.

A big thank you to our client, consultants, and team for the collaboration and effort to bring this project to life.

Urban Location – Boba Tea Concept | California

Inspired by urban street culture and street art, the design creates a bold and energetic environment that reflects the creativity of the city. The space blends industrial materials, exposed ceilings, brick textures, and vibrant color accents to bring the feeling of an urban art street indoors.

Key elements of the concept include:
• Street-inspired graphics and bold typography
• Industrial lighting with exposed ductwork
• Urban materials such as brick, concrete, and metal
• A mix of communal seating and casual lounge areas
• Bright accent elements like the iconic red urban booth and artistic installations

The goal was to design more than just a boba shop — but a social gathering space where people can relax, connect, and experience the energy of street culture.

There is nothing more meaningful than when a client returns — this time to entrust B+A Architecture with designing and building their custom dream home.

We are excited to share that our first presentation of the Year of the Horse was a great success. The new residence, overlooking the golf course, captures expansive views, natural light, and peaceful surroundings. The vision: a modern contemporary retreat with warm, inviting interiors that balance clean architectural lines — elevated yet cozy.
