“How long does a pantry take?”
Girl. Not all pantries are created equal. Some are the size of a walk-in closet, and some are 3 cabinets in the corner of the kitchen. Some are packed full of expired foods, and some are bulk-shopped but up to date. Sometimes, when we pull everything out, we discover a pest problem that needs sorting, or a molasses jar that leaked all over your baking supplies.
What I can tell you from experience is that I’ve never seen an organizer try and slow down a client who is making quick decisions in a good frame of mind. If you are zipping along confidently, then so are we. We make sure you’re getting value from the time you’re paying for, and keep you on track so you don’t take on side quests mid-task. You can do chaotic and incomplete just fine without our help, so we keep the session focused and efficient. Plus, most of us have that type A, need-to-complete-a-job-and-get-a-gold-star vibe, so we are not motivated to mess around and leave things half baked.
We have shared goals, and we’ll get you to the finish line at whatever pace you set! Decluttering is sometimes fast, like in the closet or garage, and often slow when it comes to papers, sentimental items, and even books. So please know that we are ready when you are, and it’s going to be faster as a team than it would be if you tidied alone. There’s a reason most of us charge by the hour and not by the room - because X amount for a bedroom will vary wildly from house to house!
