The Holiday Season is Officially Upon Us!!
Good Afternoon Wesa's Fans!!
Although the holidays are still a couple months away, the holiday shopping season has officially opened here at Wesa's Wood & Glass!!
What does this mean for you? Well, simply put, as you might expect, this is my busiest season and to make sure that you have every opportunity to get your holiday and special occasion orders in during this "Holiday Shopping Season", there are a couple of dates and a couple thoughts to keep in mind...
First, the dates...
1. The FINAL date to put orders in, especially orders you want guaranteed to have in hand before Christmas (including orders you want for your New Year's Eve celebrations), is Friday, December 1st - any orders put in after December 1st WILL NOT automatically be guaranteed by Christmas; each order will be on a case by case basis.
2. All orders guaranteed for delivery, shipping, and pickup by Christmas must be picked up/will be shipped out NO LATER THAN Friday, December 15th. Any orders not picked up by December 15th will not be available for pickup until Tuesday, January 2, 2018 as I will be on holiday from December 16th through January 1st.
Second, some thoughts to keep in mind...
1. As you know, my work is all done by hand - and only by my hand - so it takes time to complete each individual order, especially when you consider all the different steps that go into completing each piece. So, please understand that depending on the size and complexity of your order, it could take a few days or a few weeks to complete.
With that being said, I will give you a carefully conceived estimation of how long it will take to complete your order when you put it in; however, life happens. If I am delayed for any reason beyond the date promised, I will tell you as soon as I know I will be delayed and my estimate of how long I will be delayed. The easiest way for you to ensure that your order is shipped/picked up on time is to give me a "must have by" date when you place your order, at which time I will tell you whether or not it's possible for me to have it to you by that date.
2. Your order is likely not the only order I have to get done by a specific date, especially during this holiday season. So, please understand that there may be several orders ahead of yours and that I generally do orders in the order I receive them - I, more often than not, will not put anyone's order ahead of anyone else's. However, there are, at times, exceptions to this rule, but they come with a cost...
3. If you feel that you absolutely must have an order done ahead of those already on my bench, please understand that I will charge an expedite fee and that fee depends on the size and complexity of the order. However, I will never guarantee that such expedited services are possible or even available - it is on a case by case basis whether or not I will accept any order for expedite ahead of the orders I already have in front of yours.
So, now you have a heads up on the importance of getting your holiday or special occasion orders in as soon as possible during this holiday season to give you the best opportunity of having your order completed by the date you want it.
