Let’s talk cookie jars. Do you have one? What’s in it? Do you restock often?
An easy trick to keeping a well stocked cookie jar is;
when you make cookie dough double the recipe. Form your shapes and freeze at least half of it on a cookie sheet. Once frozen you can put them in a freezer bag or container and keep them frozen until you are ready for more cookies. You don’t have to defrost them or anything. I take them out and bake them at 325* until they start to get a golden edge. These were frozen 2 hours ago. Now they are baked, cooled, and ready to be devoured tomorrow. You can do this with just about any cookie. Monday I am restocking my freezer with more of our favorites
Enjoy your weekend everyone
