Common question we get asked is if viny! can lay on top of existing hardwood.
If the hardwood is installed over slab, you cannot install over hardwood. Concrete slab naturally release moisture, even when the hardwood is installed with proper moisture control adhesive. Wood needs to breathe and expand.
When you install vinyl over hardwood:
• You trap moisture
• The floor can't breathe
• Moisture gets stuck between layers
• It can lead to warping, cupping, mold, and costly damage

Can’t wait to see what does with this space 🙌🏼

Our team added new solid red oak where flooring was missing. After lacing the new wood with the old we fully sanded, stained, and finished with 3 coats of Bona finish for a lasting protection.
