In case you didn’t know, those little🎄and the car air fresheners from the car wash or grocery store are full of harmful synthetic ingredients that are not good for you or your pets to be breathing in.
Their sense of smell is 250x what ours is and you’re putting them in a REALLY SMALL contained space with no way for them to get out on their own.
I’m not trying to be Judge Judy but the longer I do this the more I find people don’t know this. And helllllo sharing is caring. No one intentionally wants to harm their pets.
I use to sell those colored little wax melt bars from a well known MLM. Had them in every room in my house, bought ten at a time…sold them to family and friends. Had no idea they were harmful to me or my dogs.
But the very thing that makes scents last long, fill every room, give off a strong scent, is the very thing that is incredibly toxic…they’re called PHTHALATES!
And your body is so use to these foreign chemicals it doesn’t know the difference…yet!
I recently took a Lyft ride where the driver had one of these mass produced scents and I had to roll the window down (it was snowing outside so that’s fun) cuz it was so strong. By the time I got home I had such a migraine I could barely keep my eyes open and physically felt ill. Woke up the next day with a migraine and still felt sick.
If those scents can do that to a human…what effect are they having on an animal?!?!
My physical response wasn’t always like that, I had to stop using them and detox my system. Then I started making my own, that way I can control the quality and the ingredients.
I only use scents that are phthalate free plus free from mutagens, carcinogens, acute and organ toxins and reproductive toxins cuz being just phthalate free is not enough for me or my pups.
