Being a small business owner isn’t always easy, but every once in a while, a message from a customer reminds me exactly why I do it. 🥹

Recently, I received such a sweet compliment about our Blind Brush Kits, hearing how they’re encouraging people to spend quality time together, put their phones down, and simply enjoy creating something side by side. And honestly, that’s what it’s all about and it makes my heart so happy to be able to create these experiences for others! 💚

Poole of Paint has always been about more than just paint. It’s about connection, creativity, making memories, and giving people a reason to slow down and enjoy the little things.

To every customer who supports my small business, shares a post, places an order, or takes the time to send a kind message — thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You make such a difference, I can’t even begin to put into words. 🥹

And a little reminder: if you’ve had a great experience with a small business, take a moment to tell them! Leave a review, send a message, or share their work. It might seem like a small gesture to you, but it could truly make someone’s entire week. ❤️

A very over do ‘Finished Work Friday’

I was given the honor of painting a corn hole board ‘guest book’ for a dear friends very special day! 🥹🤍 Her guests will be able to sign and cherish forever. Her second board is a collage of their relationship milestones and will be coming soon! 🤍

Work in Progress Wednesday… of sorts 🥹

I want to personally apologize for the recent silence and lack of updates here. I truly appreciate each and every one of you, and I hope you know how much I’ve been feeling the guilt of being a little quieter and neglecting this space. 💔 I try not to bring too much of my personal life onto the Poole of Paint page, but… I’ve been keeping a little secret! 🥹💚

Our biggest little work in progress is officially on the way! 🍼✨

As I head further into my second trimester, I’m finding that the rumors about your energy coming back might be lies… because I’m still waiting. 😴🤣 But I am starting to feel a little better and am slowly finding my way back into a rhythm with orders and everything Poole of Paint. 🎨

For those of you who have been waiting on orders, I am so deeply sorry for the delays. Please know I haven’t forgotten about you, and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding while I figure out this new season of life. 💚

With that said, I do want to be transparent that I don’t foresee custom orders reopening this year. Please don’t take that as Poole of Paint closing — quite the opposite! We have a full schedule of craft shows and events this fall and winter, and I’m so excited to continue creating, connecting, and seeing all of you along the way. 🎨

But we also want to soak up our last holiday season as just the two of us before our little bean arrives in March. 🥹🫘

So, if you see me at the 🍇 Grape Jamboree 🍇 this weekend and think I look like I’ve gained a little weight…

I definitely have. 🤣🍼

As always, I truly appreciate every single order and all of your continued support! 💚

I never like having to close custom orders, but occasionally it’s necessary to ensure I can give every project the time, attention, and quality it deserves. I would much rather temporarily pause new orders than take on more than I can confidently complete to the standard you expect from Poole of Paint.

I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to reopen custom orders before the holiday season, but I’m unable to guarantee that just yet. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support of my small business! 🎨💚

Giving back to our community is one of the most rewarding parts of owning Poole of Paint. 💚

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the privilege of donating nearly 60 plaster paint kits for this weekend’s Wealth & Wellness Sampler ⛑️, a paint kit basket for Ripple Effect Berkshire Campus ✝️, sponsor the Crestwood Cavaliers 4-H Club 🐴 and sponsor my sister as she rides in this weekend’s MS Bike Ride. 🚴‍♀️

As a small business, I know I won’t always be in a position to say “yes” to every donation request, but while I can, I truly enjoy supporting organizations and causes that make our community stronger.💪

I also want to thank the people who have made this possible—my customers. 🥹 Every purchase, every share, every paint night, and every kind word helps Poole of Paint continue giving back. 💚

Our first Blind Brush TM paint party was a success last night!

What a fun group of ladies, beautiful weather, with lots of laughs!

Each painter got to pick a wrapped canvas with clues, and paint their characters by following step by step photos and instructions. This left more time for talking and catching up with each other instead of listening to my instructions!!

Just look at these masterpieces! Thank you all so much for coming and spending your Friday night with us!! 💚
