I was JUST going to clean up this primitive bread box and find her a homeā€¦ next thing I know, half the kitchen is rearranged. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤Ž

But honestly, thatā€™s my favorite kind of decoratingā€”moving things around, mixing in old pieces, and making our home feel a little more like us. And Iā€™d say she fits right in. šŸ„¹

Please tell me Iā€™m not the only one who brings home ONE thing and suddenly has to redo the whole room. šŸ˜‚

I had a realization today that honestly stopped me in my tracks.

Iā€™ve spent almost 20 YEARS ā€œtryingā€ to lose weight. Starting over. Falling off. Starting again. Always thinking when I lose the weightā€¦

And I donā€™t want to spend another 10 years doing this.

So Iā€™m done trying. Iā€™m changing my habits, learning how to take care of my body, getting healthy and building a life I can actually maintain.

No more ā€œIā€™ll start Monday.ā€ No more waiting for motivation.

Days like this remind me why I love what I do so much. šŸ¤Ž We started with empty shelves and dĆ©cor covering the floor, and little by little we watched this space start to feel like home.

Weā€™re not completely finished yet, but we got SO much doneā€”and I canā€™t wait to show yā€™all the finished space!

This office has been the catch-all room for WAY too long šŸ˜‚ If I didnā€™t know where to put somethingā€¦ in here it went.

But Iā€™m slowly turning it into a space that actually feels inspiring to work in, and today weā€™re starting with the shelves. šŸ¤Ž A little vintage, a little greenery, some pretty booksā€”and it already feels so much better.

Still a work in progress, but weā€™re getting there one little corner at a time. Now maybe this will motivate me to tackle the rest of it. šŸ˜‚
