Tomorrow, our bakery case officially begins filling up with fresh baked goodies at Make It Place!

By noon Wednesday, you’ll find:
• Brioche Cinnamon Rolls — soft, buttery rolls with generous swirls of cinnamon sugar throughout, topped with rich, creamy icing
• Fresh Scones — Chocolate Almond, Ginger Apricot, and Cranberry Walnut
• Sourdough Bagels — Plain, Asiago, Blueberry, Jalapeño Cheddar, and Everything

And the toppings? We may have gone a little overboard… 👀
Whipped butter, cinnamon whipped butter, whipped cream cheese, spinach artichoke spread, Nutella, local jams & jellies, apple butter, pear butter, and NEW local honey 🍯

We’re also officially serving brewed-to-order pour over coffee.
Each cup is individually hand brewed just for you, using Intelligentsia Coffee — known for direct trade relationships and exceptional small-batch roasting. We currently have 6 coffees to choose from, including both classic and reserve selections, so every cup feels a little more intentional, a little more special, and a lot more flavorful.

It’s OFFICIAL!! 🎉
Today we received our Retail Food Establishment Permit from the Arkansas Department of Health — and the Make It Place Café is officially a reality.

After a lot of dreaming, planning, and hard work, we’ll be placing our very first baked goods order today! We’ll let everyone know as soon as the bakery case is full and ready. ☕🥐

☕️ Today we’re sampling pour-over coffee from Intelligentsia — a craft coffee brand that started in Chicago by a husband & wife team with a focus on small-batch roasting and pour over brewing.

It’s happening!!! ✨

Today at Make It Place, we received our very first beverage delivery — and the beverage case is officially full!

We just tried the Reading Strawberry Mint Lemongrass, Reading Draft Blackberry Cream, and Boylan Root Beer sodas… and honestly, they’re even better than we hoped. There’s now a place in town to grab unique, made-in-America craft sodas. 🥤

I haven’t done the best job keeping everyone updated during this move because we’ve been completely immersed in getting the new shop ready. Just one week ago today, we were in full packing-frenzy mode. Thankfully, we are now fully unpacked at the new location! There are still a few finishing touches to complete, but we’re getting very close.

We officially reopened this past Wednesday and are now operating normal business hours at our new home on the square. 💕

And for everyone asking about the café — the baked goods side should be up and running in about 1½ to 2 weeks!

We’re 100% moved! I don’t even know how to fully put this into words… but thank you. Truly.

These past two weeks—especially last Friday & Saturday —have shown us just how incredible this community is.

We had 14 of our own vendors show up to help pack. FOURTEEN. People rearranged schedules, showed up, stayed late, lifted, wrapped, hauled… all without hesitation. And beyond that, so many others reached out offering to help in any way they could. Friends, customers, neighbors—just showing up for us in the most meaningful way.

Then when our movers backed out the day before, we could have been completely stuck… but somehow, we weren’t. Because this community showed up again.

A very special thank you to Alice Jackson for lending us her trailer—you quite literally saved the day on Saturday.

To Bill the handyman, who went above and beyond in every possible way—your help made a huge difference.

And especially to Bettinna Coger for supporting our move - we couldn’t have done this if not for you!

There were so many moving pieces—WiFi, phone, electric, plumbing, technical, physical—and so many people behind the scenes helping make this happen.

We are just… overwhelmed. In the best way.

This move wasn’t just a move. It was a reminder of why we’re here and who we’re doing this with.

We are so excited for this next chapter for Make It Place at 100 Main Street—look for the fuchsia awning 💗

We’re aiming to be open by Thursday at the latest, and we cannot wait to welcome you in.

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for showing up for us.
We will never forget it.
