We are glad to welcome our 2026 architectural summer interns: Christian Burks, Anna Willard, Joshua Muscolino, Caleb Clearman, and Abby Mickholtzick.

Joshua and Christian are joining our office during their summer break from Auburn University, where they are both studying architecture. Joshua, originally from Birmingham and entering his fifth year, enjoys hiking, fishing, and rock climbing in his free time. Christian, about to enter his third year, is returning after his winter internship with us this past year and is hoping to explore Downtown Huntsville while he is here.

Abby and Caleb are each pursuing their architecture degrees at Mississippi State University. Abby, about to begin her fifth year, is from Franklin, Tennessee and was interested in architecture at an early age, where she was always looking at houses, determining ways in which they could be rearranged. Caleb, also entering his fifth year, has been interested in architecture since the sixth grade, when his teacher encouraged him to think about architecture after seeing some of his drawings. A fun fact about Caleb is that he lives on a farm with around 40 horses and a dozen cows.

Anna Willard, entering into her third year at Samford University, is on the five-year fast-track program for her Master’s in Architecture. Anna is from Huntsville and enjoys baking, painting, and being active.

We are excited to have each of you and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish, both at our office and in your careers!

20 years!

It is hard to believe that 20 years have gone by since our company’s founding in 2006. Originally founded with an inspiration to build beautiful buildings and cultivate a unique company culture, we are truly humbled by all that we have seen come to fruition throughout these 20 years. Each of our projects have been opportunities for growth and have been instrumental in our company’s development. We are immensely grateful to each client, consultant, and staff member, as each of you have played a role in making our company what it is today. We are also thankful for the community of contractors who have helped make our projects a reality.

We do not take lightly the privilege of contributing to the communities around us, and we look forward to seeing all that lies ahead!

Big things in the works! Construction for ServisFirst Bank's new Downtown Huntsville location has officially begun after this week’s Groundbreaking ceremony.

This 25,000-square-foot building, designed with 21st-century banking practices in mind as well as being rooted in a classical style, will exemplify the materials, scale, and character of Downtown Huntsville. This design also offers a large community room and flex meeting space, in addition to a covered rooftop patio which looks over downtown Huntsville and Monte Sano Mountain.

We are excited to be a part of this project and look forward to seeing all that it brings to Downtown Huntsville. Stay tuned for more updates!

We were honored to host a group of students from the University of North Alabama’s Interior Architecture and Design Program this past Friday. Our team members provided a glimpse into some of the exciting things we get to do each day, as well as shared insight into how the things that they are currently learning in school could be applied post-graduation.

We were so glad to have them, and we wish each of them the best!

It’s that time of the year again! Our very own Lisa Dyer played a huge role in the success of this year’s Huntsville dreamArchitecture Program, themed “Draw Your Dream Hotel”. We were thrilled to partner with ELM and Schoel to judge both the 3rd-grade entries and the overall K-5 winner.

We had a big day of celebration at the office this week! We spent some of our day hosting a wedding shower for Luke and Sara Kate ahead of their wedding next month. We are so excited for both of them and are so grateful to have been a part of this season in their lives.

Meet Matheny Goldmon Architecture + Interiors’ newest team members!

William has joined our team as a Construction Administrator. Alongside his positive, upbeat personality, he brings a wealth of project management expertise developed over 44 years of experience. Living in Huntsville with his wife, Rose, William enjoys serving in local ministries as well as traveling to see his grandson in Washington, D.C.

Scott has joined our team as an Interior Designer. Having attended Auburn University and with over 10 years of professional experience, Scott is always looking to exceed his clients' expectations. He has also developed an interest in the philosophy of design and color theory. In his free time, he enjoys antiquing, attending sports events, and trying out new restaurants.
