A little update on what I’ve been working on behind the scenes! 🤍
I know it’s been a little while since I’ve shared anything about where I’m headed with my clothing business. I haven’t forgotten about it or given up on it — I’ve actually been intentionally giving myself time to figure out what I truly want this next chapter to become.
I don’t want to rush into putting out products just to say I’m doing something. I want to learn more about the clothing industry, fabrics, manufacturing, quality, designing, branding, and everything that actually goes into creating a clothing brand from the ground up. I know that’s going to take time, and I’m okay with that!
One idea I’ve continued coming back to is Refined & Resilient — R&R.
The meaning behind it is a huge part of why I love it. Nothing great starts out finished. It begins with ideas, pieces, mistakes, learning, patience, and a whole lot of refining. Being resilient means continuing through that process instead of giving up when something doesn’t work the first time. Eventually, all of those little pieces can become something much bigger.
That idea represents not only how I want to build this brand, but also what I want the brand itself to stand for.
Right now, though, I’m still in the learning and development stage. There’s no launch date, no finished collection, and honestly, there are still plenty of things I haven’t figured out yet — and that’s part of the process.
I’d actually love some outside opinions as I continue working on it:
When you hear the name “Refined & Resilient,” what does it make you think of? What kind of brand or feeling do you associate with that name?
