We had quite the cast of characters in the store this morning as Daniel Harrison, the Black Widow of Hazel Green, and Gen. Samuel Moore stopped by for a visit on their way to the Maple Hill Cemetery Stroll tomorrow, Sunday, October 18, at Maple Hill Cemetery.

We are most grateful to Chandler Hall (Daniel Harrison), Jan Dorning (The Black Widow of Hazel Green), and Van Brown (Gen. Samuel Moore) for spending the morning with us and sharing their love of Huntsville history.

For forty-one years, the Huntsville Pilgrimage Association has produced the Cemetery Stroll and offered it free to the community. Many thanks to those who donate their time and talent to this most worthy event!

👻HISTORY IS HAUNTINGLY BEAUTIFUL!👻

Just in time for The Haunting of Harrison Brothers 🎃 THIS SATURDAY, 11 AM–1 PM 🎃 — discover a new original watercolor series from Lexie Austin Art!

🍁 Lexie is a Huntsville-based watercolorist known for her luminous paintings of local landmarks and nature. This beautiful new series was inspired by photos Lexie took during a fall stroll through historic Maple Hill Cemetery.

🫶 The Huntsville Pilgrimage Association helps care for the monuments featured in this series, along with thousands of others! You can support their work at the annual Cemetery Stroll on Sunday, October 18, at 1:30 PM.

🖼️ The five original paintings in the “Maple Hill” series, plus prints of each, are available *NOW* at The Gallery at Harrison Brothers Hardware!
