This morning I’m handing over the keys to 114 Clinton Avenue.

There are not enough words to express how grateful my heart is. Bear with me while I thank some special people.

I love my family so incredibly much. My husband has been my steady, constant support through every single season of this , unwavering, encouraging, and so incredibly good to me. I could not have done any of it without him. My children, my parents, my in-laws, my sister who worked alongside me through the years, and every family member and friend who has loved and cheered me on, I am so deeply grateful for each one of you.

To every employee who has ever worked with me, thank you. You know better than anyone that my brain is scattered on a good day, and you showed up anyway with patience and grace and love. You helped carry me through days I didn’t even know I needed carrying. I am so deeply grateful.

And my sweet girl, Caley. There is something so special about having her name on this store, and I could not be more grateful that I chose it. She was with me at the very beginning, all the way back to our first Dallas market trip, picking out everything for the grand opening, and between school and life she has always made time to show up for me ever since. There is simply nothing like doing what you love with your daughter. I am so grateful to have her home this summer to help me step into this next chapter.
