I made a rainbow ice cream cone with nothing but sidewalk chalk & chalk pastels and honestly?? she ATE. 🎨✨

The colors blended SO good I had to film it twice 😭 This is giving main character summer energy and I am NOT apologizing for it.

POV you’ve been doing chalk wrong your whole life 💀 Regular chalk vs chalk pastels and I am SO sorry but there is no going back. This is the difference between a chalk artist and a Friday afternoon on the sidewalk 😭 If you’ve been using the Amazon basics pack thinking that was enough… bestie. BESTIE. The colors, the blending, the VIBRANCY… chalk pastels do things regular chalk physically cannot. Save this before summer or stay losing 🌈🔥

Did I spend 2 hours in 40° weather chalking a Rocket City masterpiece at sunrise just for my husband to run it over before I filmed the final shots? Yes. Am I bitter? No :) (…yes.) 🚗💀

It always makes me a little sad washing away sidewalk chalk art 🥲🎨 Hours of blending, coloring, and creating… gone in minutes. But I guess that’s the beauty of chalk art… it doesn’t last forever.

POV: it’s 2020 and suddenly you have endless hours outside with your kids, sidewalk chalk, and no where else to be. Back when the world was ending but at least we got to be outside all day to kill the time.

We still love making sidewalk chalk art memories…. I just have to clock in to my 9 to 5 in the morning. 🫠
