Sometimes… I get to keep one😉. A new patio and gazebo at our house called for an updated bell and bell rope. So I had to place a special order😉

We’re diggin the hempex and cotton ( #96 3-strand) combo.

A six strand Matthew Walker, six strand Star Knot, over-2 Crowning followed by over-1 Crowning finishing with a 6 strand 6 byte 6 lead Turks Head. Whew.

Our friends R&W Rope Rigging & Rope Supply can hook you up with Hempex and we’ve got a cord locker full of cotton for you to tie your own.

Great things happen when people work together! If you don’t know the story of this Lake Erie lighthouse and the results of a mighty team of volunteers who rescued, rehabbed and preserve this structure, search the Port Clinton Lighthouse and the Port Clinton Lighthouse Consv. .

Thank you to the Conservancy for hosting the Festival and all the tireless hours to create this amazing park. Thanks to all of YoU who came out to support their efforts and enjoy a Lake Erie Love kinda day!

Our crazy market run gets a break. The shop will be open the next few weeks Tuesday- Friday. Special orders will be filled asap before we head to Art on the Park on South Bass in September. ( Great weekend to put an island in your life btw)

Calling our Lighthouse Enthusiasts- Saturday from 10-4, join us in celebrating the Port Clinton Lighthouse in Water Works Park. On the shore of Lake Erie you can tour the restored structure, watch the islands ferry traffic, enjoy classic boats and savor some local flavors.

We’ll have all our Lighthouse swag for knot only Port Clinton- but Marblehead, Huron and Vermilion’s beacons as well.

Whew.

What a week-end. Where do we start? It’s been such an honor to be a part of the Vermilion Beach Market from the beginning 10 years ago. The friends we’ve made in Sherod Park are very special to us. The mighty team who back Anne and her vision are amazing. Our fellow creatives and vendors who don’t even know how their kind words and smiles fuel our days.

To all of you who joined us for a true Lake Erie Living experience- Thank you 🙏- Just sharing your stories and memories- reminders of a knotted something or your people who tie- these things resonate with us and keep us going. We’ll carry pieces of this weekend with us until we see you again-

Mat Mania- looking for a quick update to a table top or entry way? A nautical mat changes the personality of a room with one easy touch.

We have mats in multiple shapes, sizes and textures. Manila is great for indoors or out while cotton may be better suited for an indoor install.

We’ll be showing off a variety of Mats Vermilion Beach Market this weekend. Make plans to shop the shoreline and see you in Sherod Park!
